Fantastic food. Love it here. They also offered us free drinks as a way of apologising for food arriving late (though we were quite happy with how long it had taken) This was our second time eating there and in both occasions the staff have been friendly and efficient. We had booked a table second time. Not the cheapest but the quality of the food is excellent. Will definitely be going back.

Food was delicious with ridiculously large portions. However it took a very long time to take the order and receive the meals. The restaurant nor takeaway were very busy. I must highlight that the young lad Neil was very courteous and helpful. If I could have tipped him only I most definitely would have

Good food. Nice atmosphere and decoration. Full bar and friendly staff. Only bad point was we were seated at back by toilets and every time door opened not pleasant smell. But can't fault otherwise

Horrible Experience!!! Staff didn't know what they were doing! After ordering our food we were told that we couldn't eat the food inside the restaurant. Staff who took the order never asked us if we was gonna eat in or take it away. When I told them about it, they simply told us that it is written outside!(assuming everyone is able to read) Perhaps the owner has never heard about dyslexic people who can't read! Bad experience! Don't eat in this restaurant!

Very poor ordered Haddock and Plaice which was obviously an error as it took ages to come and all the Cod arrived in a fraction of the time. Small pieces of fish surrounded by a mass of batter. Even the chips had little to commend them. Mushy peas were luke warm. Would have been poor value at half the price but at these prices I would expect far better quality. Next time will go back to the little thatch down the road it's far better quality and value.
