A nice family friendly pub. It has a play area outside and also a pool table inside. The staff are always friendly and polite.

Clean pub and staff friendly. Food is what you expect for a hungry horse. Good for a quick inexpensive meal

Good for food
Being a Hungry Horse, this pub has tasty food with good portions. Nothing too fancy on the menu, just humble burgers and the usual pub grub.
There is a nice size garden, with seats and tables, and a play area for children. A big plus point in the summer!
On the negative side, service can be a little slow, particularly when it gets busy and drinks are on the more expensive side. Having said that, this is a food-orientated pub so I would suggest somewhere else if you just want a drink.

Good service. Good value food and play area outside for children. Wholly recommended. If you have young children keep an eye on them as there is s door to the side of the play area which one child went through to the car park causing a panic for parents. Door needs to be kept closed and be child proof to ensure their safety from car park.
