Been coming here from time to time for many years! Has varied over the period. Will have to mark down from last time here, waited close on 40 mins for Fish & Chips meal, no problems with a wait but if likely to be more than 20 a warning would be nice. Also cold mushy peas aren't they always served warm? A shame because a nice little pub with garden, top notch pub menu at reasonable prices. Good choice of draught lagers, usually two or three real ales plus a cider. Will give a miss for a few months now.

Pretty standard pub but they have live music evenings which are cool and a weekly quiz which are both worth checking out. There is also a nice beer garden/patio area with heaters to keep you warm in the evenings.

Small, cosy with log fires. Perfect on a snowy wintery day. Not sure what it's like in peak summer!
