Me and my best friend Kieran came here for BBQ Ribs and not only did we both almost die at the aroma but also at the taste. It was filled with sheer splendor and fell easily from the bones. In love with the new management. Well done xx

Just found out today that it's no longer a weatherspoons. Independently owned. No food menu, just a daily special. Like steaks in a Tuesday curry on a Thursday, no alternatives. No longer accept amex cards and currently don't accept android pay. Changed decor and removed booths. Has a cold warehouse feel to it ATM. Still cheap tho.

Still a very good cheap and cheerful place for a night out in Sunderland. Good food and value for money. New owners are making pleasant much needed improvements to the pub which is undergoing a gradual refurbishment. Also it is a welcome addition to my night out be able to listen to some brilliant live bands now!
