I was visiting Birmingham for the weekend for an indoor music festival at the O2 academy nearby. I heard that Scruffy Murphy's was popular with the rock and metal crowd, so decided to check it out.
When I arrived, the pub was a little busy, but nothing unmanageable. About twenty people or so. However, there was only one member of staff behind the bar, who kept going back and serving the same few customers rather than the queue in order.
I ended up waiting around fifty minutes before I was served. I'd grown impatient in that time, so I only had a few sips of the drink I'd ordered and left.
