The first time I went there with a friend the new management had only just taken over and we were underwhelmed. Since then I have been back a couple of times (I live locally) and have been impressed with the best pub service in Plymouth. The beer is good if a bit limited in range. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. The place is comfortable and spacious, with nice decor. Parking is easy. The best pub in the area. Live music on from time to time.

Popped in on the off chance for Sunday lunch, gone 3pm, not a problem, they had a Sunday lunch menu, I mistakenly picked something from the standard menu again not a problem the chef was more than happy to oblige. My wife had a roast of beef and pork, none of that see through stuff which came with a selection of 5 different vegetables including roast and mashed pots etc. Excellent food and fantastic value.. £7.50 for the roast dinner. Very friendly staff and a nice choice of beers.

A very good local with a good range of food at very reasonable prices. We were seated and served quickly, even though there was a large party in the next room who had pre booked. Will definitely visit again.
