Very poor customer service... Had to get own menu and did not feel welcome... Walked out in the end and when to Frankie & Bennie's just down the road.

Best GBK out of 5 around the country, that i have visited. food always quality even if it is deliveroo, friendly staff and nice ambience.

I arrived on a Tuesday at 1308. There were 23 vacant seats when I turned up. I waited until 1312 to be seated, by which time I'd decided what I wanted. I then queued at the counter to place my order, which was taken at 1320. The helpful staff member kindly pointed out that I could use the set lunch deal to add a side at no extra cost. My drink arrived at 1328, my burger a little later, and my chips a little later than the burger.
I enjoyed the house beer (bottle conditioned Northcote Pale Ale) but I would have preferred to be able to pour it clear and leave the sediment in the bottle -- it obviously hadn't settled, or had been handled less delicately than necessary.
The burger was enjoyable, but the chips oozed oil when pressed against the plate with a fork.
The environment is pleasant enough, with big windows offering a good view of life passing by in the pedestrian square outside.
The staff were courteous and helpful.

Nice atmosphere (would describe as hipster-like), casual, don't have staff coming up to you all the time as it's order at the till which I personally like. Wait for food was about 20 minutes, which was alright as it was Tuesday at around 5pm so it wasn't very busy. Food tasted great! Definitely recommend the onion rings and sweet potato fries. Milkshake is nice but pricey. Only down side it that it is slightly expensive (£36 for two).
