Visited on a number of occasions and great place for a walk and cycling. Have recently completed a ParkRun which was a flat course so great for potential PB's. Has a car park also.

Always a nice walk. Plenty to look out for both wildlife and watching the fishermen.

Lovely converted gravel pits now matured. Large lake. Great to walk round the lake and to the river, marina and sluice gates. Good for fishing and bird watching. Various paths go off in all directions. No amenities though. Used a lot by local walkers, cyclists and dog walkers. Very flat terrain. Metalled paths with muddy paths branching off. Access via Mile End Road, Colwick. Small car park for around 30 cars.
