Great place for families as well as singles, great breakfasts at reasonable competitive prices (cheap for a hotel) ... This family ran hotel has friendly staff and a great atmosphere... Rooms are reasonably priced. And you don't have to be a customer to use the breakfast facilities, which the chefs are always most happy to oblige where it is possible.

Good value and pleasant accommodation. Everything you need, comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms and good breakfast.

Cheap and very cheerful. Good facilities in the room. Booked triple room for daughter and friends. They loved it.

Just stayed for 2 nights. The room was very damp and smelled bad. It was in a very bad state of repair with cracks all over and peeling wallpaper; plus woodwork flaking. A good clean wouldn't have gone amiss. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. Apart from that the staff were nice, which doesn't take away from the disappointing stay. Definitely wasn't worth the £50 per night, which didn't include breakfast.
