Beautiful place with a few flaws. Pillows released dust when lying on them and the sinks had taps that weren't long enough so water went everywhere when washing your hands. But other than that, it's a lovely hotel with a comfy bed, best TV I've seen in a hotel room, good shower and plenty of room/storage.

Surprised my wife for her 30th birthday here & hotel arranged for chocolates & balloons to be in the room on arrival. Really nice touch. Hotel & Room were superb.We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

We stayed at the double tree Hilton gateway hotel for a weekend stay on check in we received two chocolate cookies with our room keys and they took £50 on your card in case of of any added extras you spend but don't worry if there are no added extras you will get your money back on check out. Our room was spacious and clean and had tea and coffee facilities and a fridge in our room and of course a big double bed. The room also had an iron and ironing board and a double wardrobe to hang your clothes in. This hotel also has free WiFi. The bathroom has towels and complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash and mouth wash. I believe the room also had air conditioning. A very nice hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, all the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. We were upgraded to a king sized room free of charge. Amazing value for money and we can’t wait to go again!

Attached the evening portion if a wedding here at weekend. The DJ was fantastic, got really involved with the music and guests. The buffet food was amazing! Rustic sandwiches and pork pie, tasted great and was enough for me to take a doggy bag home. I'd highly recommend a function at this place. It's certainly a lot better now than it was a good 10 years ago.
