Their pies are phenomenal and when you don't order a pie, you get huge, delicious salads and proper country pub meals. We keep going back for more. Super pub and great service every time! Thank you

Best pies for miles around! Pastry is melt in the mouth and the fillings are fantastic! We travel an hour to get there mainly for the pies but the pub itself is very good also. We have been three or four times now and each time we have been given a table in the bar. Very warm, cosy atmosphere, log fires, exposed beams, etc. The welcome has also been very genuine each time and the service is always quick and the staff efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Food absolutely lovely . We were very disappointed with our coffee's , all were cool . I had to leave so couldn't wait for a fresh one , one of our party did which was no problem .

Poor food poor beer won't be back. Had to wait an age for food to arrive I had the roast beef which was the only part of the meal which was edible. The veg was cold the Yorkshire pudding was so crisp it shattered and the roast potatoes seemed as though they had been cooking all week. My friend had the pie but that's all I came with nothing else and for what it cost?

The pies. You have to get a pie there! So good. I got a mini and with a beer it was a perfect lunch. The largest pies are a big meal. The local beer (Old Spot) was really nice and everyone made us feel very welcome.
