Beautiful place. Historic on the outside,which is always interesting to see. Modern on the inside(accommodation). Beautiful room, with tv, shower,toilet...amazing. Love it!
I am here for work,only sleeping over, so not sure if I catch the breakfast. Would love to.
But if I was her for leisure, I would definitely bring a loved one with me and home some alone romantic time.
Sounds like someone using tap water or shower can be heard, if that bothers you. Clearly walls are not sound resistant since its an old house.

I live near the queen Matilda and this is the best neighborhood friendly pub I could ask for. There has never been any excess noise from the pub nor has ther ever been any unsavoury types in The vicinity. I enjoy the food which is far beyond amazing and staff are beyond friendly! If your looking for a real Cotswold experience this the the place to go!

Visiting the area due to the Gatcombe Horse trials.
The food and drink was to a very high standard and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is definitely a pub I will be coming back to and would recommend.
