Good food. Sunday roasts . . Ample quantity and good value. Children's roast £4.25. there's a large enclosed garden with kids' play equipment and interesting shrubs and trees for small kids to play around. Beer, e.g. Greene King Abbott served well. Pleasant service although they always appear very busy at peak times

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is good. Rooms could do with doing up but comfortable and clean. Best bed I've slept in for ages!

Stopped at the Hunter's Hall for lunch with a few friends. There was a good selection of pub grub at a reasonable price and the quality of the food was better than average. The service was friendly and helpful. The building and decor are very traditional, and none the worse for that. Altogether, an enjoyable experience.
