Usually a very nice chip shop. Except on this particular occasion me and my boyfriend were left very disappointed, Unsatisfied and most of all quite embarrassed. For the first time we left with the chips to find they were hard? Not to their usual standard. We decided to return to the shop to get another batch as we simply couldn't eat them. Upon returning and explaining they didn't seem to understand and explained it was new type of 'potato' ..none the less made a new batch. But whilst in the process felt the need to try one of our chips from our portion which made us feel a little awkward? Does this usually happen in a food outlet? Then when giving us our 'fresh' new chips we were asked to try one in front of them which we got a little embarrassed by as we felt put on the spot. We proceeded to try and that one was OK. We left, tried some more but low and behold they were hard again. WON'T BE RETURNING

Asked for large cod absolutely rubbish all batter cold greasy old chips never ever going back there !
