First time eating at the Spice Village. Wednesday night banquet is well worth a try. Fresh food presented really well, honest friendly service. Decent Indian red wine 🍷 too

I have eaten at this restaurant for years and found it to be very good indeed. However, my recent experience is very different and this may be due to the significant staff turnover. This evening, we stopped by for a takeaway to be given a burnt and underwhelming dishes. We complained and they offered to cook us a fresh meal. I wish I could say the second time was better but that’s far from reality. The food was simply horrible. After many years of custom, I won’t be returning.

Delivery arrived late and was cold with items missing. When we called to check that the order had been received they were incredibly rude. Apparently you should call rather than order online. In that case, perhaps they should remove their online ordering system. We won't be ordering again so there's no problem there.

Awesome food. Very nice service. Everytime we go it gets better. Fantastic service. Lovely people. Thali night on Tuesday is fabulous.
