Very basic, but this is reflected in the price. Problems with the air conditioning and not the cleanest shower area.

this place is great to train be it a workout, a spin class, fitness or just plain old body conditioning. There are Personal Trainers on hand if assistance is needed or questions need answering and if you require a one to one or a personal program off them then they'll be happy to oblige (for a fee of course as their self employed).
I enjoy this place cos its open 24/7 with loads of exercise equipment, free weights and spin bikes and it has a friendly unimposing atmosphere where everyone's on a par so if your fat, thin, tall or short you'll just go unnoticed and not feel like your being judged.

For what I pay this is the best value for money gym by a country mile. I've been a member since it opened and prior to that I've been a member at all the so called posh places... Holmes place, bannatynes, la fitness, etc. You name it, I've been there... But for £40+ a month no thank you. Ok, pure gym doesn't have a pool but it does have modern equipment, decent free weight and fab free classes. Best place I've been at for the money in my 20 years in Manchester, bang on! 💪

I tried this gym on a free trial with 2 visits and considering it is a lower cost gym, they have a really good range of equipment, including cardio, resistance machines and free weights/ benches. The thing that let it down badly for me were the lockers. Most are small with a low number of larger lockers. I managed to get a large locker but my suit and bag was still squashed in it, plus it had a dodgy lock portal and I had trouble opening and closing it.
If I had not got in early I may not have got a larger locker at all, so would have had to leave if there were only small lockers. I tried this place a second time and had same problem, messing around with lockers for ages trying to get one that worked. The staff I asked about this were not very friendly. I emailed the manager and copied the assistant manager to raise the locker issue and they never bothered responding. So they are getting 2 out of 5 for a rating. I have found a better gym anyway now in the city centre (which I also gave a review for).
