My insurance was £39 then year after went to £59 a month. I took them due to having no choice at the time, i will be leaving in 2018 can not wait, there excuse was too many accidents. Also in 2017 a car hit the side of mine on my street, they never investigate it as the person was lying saying was moving, yet the guy scraped me and ensure took their said no investigation no nothing! Im looking else where and will avoid in future.

Simple policy cancellation within 14 days took 2 advisors 4 attempts within the same phone call and being put on hold for a grand total of 12 minutes. Even then the refund figure quoted was miscalculated and only when I pointed out the correct admin fee to them did they manage finally to amend it. I should not have to point out their own fees to them. Very disappointing and others less discerning may be being charged too much. Very poor admin system. Be aware.

Involved in an accident that wasn't our fault. Our car got valued at 2k below what they were selling on Autotrader. Not satisfied with settlement but they arrogantly sent the cheque anyway. Claims staff all hard to contact and on holiday without suitable covering staff. Linda Hamilton thought she 'had done a good job' in recovering what is effectively a 'we buy any car price' for our 4x4...... "perhaps this job isn't for you eh Linda?!?" Cheap and nasty crooked company that is best avoided. NFU worth paying the extra for on renewal.

Very poor. Was shunted in the rear so a no fault claim. Had to have the vehicle repaired by their prefered bodyshop instead of Mercedes else they'd charge me a £200 excess. Did not provide a like-for-like hire car requiring me to use the bodyshop's Peugeot so they could avoid further costs. Their preferred bodyshop took 5 attempts to fix the car - they couldn't even position the replacement badges correctly. Still not got my excess back after 9 months. No communication. Terrible customer service. Has been a dreadful experience. Will definitely not be renewing my insurance with esure.

So esure are another great example of a terms and conditions disgrace. Yeah, we all read terms and conditions when we buy things don’t we?? Of course, we don’t and when companies exploit that they should be held to account.
Esure have just charged me for changing the address for my car insurance policy. £60 or thereabouts. Companies that make money by hiding things like this in the terms and conditions should be avoided like the plague. What else is lurking in their terms and conditions I wonder that is setup to charge people unexpectedly.
I will be reporting them to the advertising standards authority and am almost certain they will be bought to account. They do not fully explain this through compare the market or their own website.
I have checked their website process and there is no explicit reference to charges associated with change of address, so they appear to be deceitfully hiding charges within terms and conditions.
Based on previous complaints to the advertising standards authority I would suggest things will be done about this so others do not fall foul of their process.
Avoid esure!
