The food was a shambles, when i first ordered i was told they didnt have enough sirloin steaks so we had to change our order. Then the chef came to our table and told us there were only 2 steaks so we once again had to change our order. My sharing starter came missing garlic bread and i also saw a flea jumping around in the salad. The curry was meant to be a mild masala but was too hot for my spice enthusiastic dad where the menu was misleading. The roast dinner was awful it was obviously instant gravy (e.g. Bisto) the beef was tastles there were no roast potatoes or peas and the mash was bland. I wont be coming back and i suggest u dont go.

Tried to have a meal with my disabled father, the pub was packed with football on, the staff behind the bar ignored me and walked past, one man did eventually speak to me, but it was quite clear that they were not interested in trying to arrange for us to eat. Left in disgust and got a taxi to the millgate where we were seated straightaway and had a lovely meal.

Just visited the Windmill for lunch and had a very good experience.. Staff very friendly and welcoming... food was great and good portions. .overall great experience. ..will definitely go back....
