Disappointed 😞 went to celebrate my mums 80th Birthday. Items not Available. Mains dry, staff very defensive full of excuses rather than sort out the problem. Attempts to butter us up with free Garlic bread afterwards!! nah!

I went to the Royal Sovereign in Salford.
Drinks were not too good. I was server lager in a Guinness glass for a start, despite lager glasses being visible behind the bar.
We were out for a low key family event with a fairly mixed age group. We were pushed out of the place at 10 past 11 by security. The bar staff started shouting that people should hurry up and leave at circa 11.
A good few of the people with us were well into their senior years and felt bullied by security at times. Staff banged on toilet doors to get them out and litterally threw coats at people.
No one was rude or too drunk. We were all respectful of the staff.
I can honestly say I have not experienced service this poor that i can remember.

A disappointing experience. Bar staff were friendly enough but the incompetence in the kitchen spoilt my meal. We were eating as a family of five. The menu was varied and I chose a burger topped with brisket. I was so looking forward to the Smokey brisket. My brisket was missing from my burger, my mother steak was missing the onion rings and dad's chicken strips were missing the nachos. As we didn't have warning we could choose alternatives. This isn't the first time the order has been incomplete here. Next time I will ask them to check the order before bringing it to the table and warn them I won't pay for items not as ordered. 2 stars as only 2 of five meals were correct.

Absolute joke! Managers response "Well we've had a busy weekend!" It won't allow me to post without rating it with a star... I wouldn't give it any star.

I hadn't eaten here since it changed from the old Hope restaurant. So I wanted to try the food to see if it was any good as it is in walking distance from me. The restaurant were really helpful and pleasant. I had the All American Chicken burger and glass of cola. I didn't have to wait that long for my food. My food was lovely and fresh. The chicken was lovely crispy and the fries were piping hot and they both tasted amazing. My drink was freezing cold and it take any time for it to be ready. I can't fault the food and the service.
