Cheap beer, massive outside sitting area, Sports Bar about 5 pool tables plus one for table tennis available. Upstairs dining area. Crowd is mostly students given that its just opposite Owens Park Students Accomodation.

Was in this pub 2 weeks ago for the Sunday Quiz- the pub at that time was not very busy and therefore the staff coped well. We came back this Sunday as we had a pleasant first experience. Tonight there was moderate amount of people in the bar. There wasn't enough staff working, and the staff that were working were not trying to keep up with the customers. The quiz was so badly organised that it was half an hour late and we left after the first round because the speakers were so terrible. It sounded like a New York subway announcement.
Beers served in plastic glasses and it was freezing cold inside. Everyone had their coats on. Won't be returning here.

Good spot on a Sunday, pints of Carling, Strongbow, and Dark Fruits are only 2.10, music's fine, pub quiz is fun, and there is always pool for a quid.
Never been any other day, and is mainly a student crowd.
