I have been going there twice a month this summer. It is very peaceful and nice. Very much recommended.

I work in Soho and get around by bike everywhere.
Winter - Spring - Summer - Autumn I will always take a detour via Hyde Park to go to the Italian Gardens.
Such a wonderful place to visit with water features and some really beautiful architectural features.
I really like taking my camera down there and looking out over "Long Water" to see all the wildlife out there.
This is just one "on my list" of places to go around London, wind down after work.
Another item of note is you get all nationalities/different people down there enjoying themselves and being in harmony down there, wonderful what space and being surrounded by nature helps us human beings respond the best possible way in this troubled world we live in.
If you are visiting London, please take time go there and you will not regret it
