The Old Finsbury Town Hall (Grade 2☆listed) is the most remarkable of buildings....see photographs. My students love it here...evenings in this building and the Saturday classes in Urdang 2. FTH now belongs to the outstanding Urdang Academy of Performing Arts....a highly successful music-theatre academy.
The area itself also has a great deal to offer with the cafes and restaurants of Exmouth Market backing onto the building and the delightful Spa Fields Park only 2 minutes walk away.
My graded matwork classes (Levels 1-5) teach Pilates carefully and thoroughly...see reviews. As we are a community, payment is by the term but our policy is to keep fees moderate and to offer a swap-in scheme to enhance attendance.
New participants welcome. Come join a happy, considerate group of students who find structured, old-school teaching and regular attendance the best way to learn and make progress.

I have been attending Chris' classes for quite a few years now and they are still challenging and enjoyable as they were at the beginning. Chris is an extremely experienced teacher with an eye for detail and has definitely helped me to improve my core strength and walk taller.

Practice Pilates in this lovely venue is really awesome!
Chris is a wonderful teacher. Since when I started 2 years ago I improved a lot. Pilates Body Awareness helped me to settle down my body after a few of injuries on my knee. It's unbelievable how now I am able to attend the level 3 class easily and just enjoy it.

Christine is a very thorough teacher, exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and making you at ease with all the different workouts given every week. If you want to experience the real Pilates method this is the right place. Although it is still early days I have already noticed some improvements in my core strength and tone. You will sweat, laugh and sweat even more but you will leave feeling taller.

Great series of graded classes so you improve your flexibility and overall fitness at a pace that is right for you. Chris has expert knowledge of human anatomy and you will iron-out bad habits over time. Friendly and supportive environment in which to learn - and loose some of those hard-to-shift pounds. Lots of extra, specifically targetted workshops and training days too. A school that cares about you and how/what you learn.
