Everything worked as it should, excluding wi fi connection which was very poor.

Location, location! This hotel is all about its location and its outside apperance. The rooms are quite small and standard equipted, but the location is in my opinion great! Just a few yards from Paddington stn with trains to Heathrow and underground. Even better though is the closeness to central line station of Lancaster gate and the abillity to just walk into Hyde Park. Lots of pubs and bars just round the corner. If you're in London to see London this is a good hotel.

I recently stayed here for a few days when visiting London, and found it a very enjoyable experience.
We didn't know that we wouldn't be staying in the hotel itself until upon arrival but staying instead in an apartment around the other side of the street. However I found that this may have been better as we received our breakfasts in a restaurant on the street which was delicious everyday without fail.
The location was great also as Paddington Station just at the end of the street less than 5 minutes away, there was also a variety of restaurants, pubs and convenience stores on the same street. Overall it was a pleasant experience, Paddington and London Street are very nice areas and also the Big Bus Tour had a stop right across the street which was very convenient. Hyde Park was relatively close which was nice. The apartment itself was clean and we did see the cleaners, but my parents both had bites, which looked like mosquito bites but where probably from a bed-bug which was obviously not pleasant.
Overall 8/10.
