Shame it's all over

The classic British Home Stores use to be found on most high streets. The store on Oxford St is nestled between Oxford Circus and John Lewis.

The store itself is dated and feels lacking for a fashion and home store. It's layout is also very complicated, which is equally frustrating as it's only on 2 floors.

Not the best shopping experience or store.

Wish I could put zero stars.
Horrible experience at the cafe on the ground floor! Had my child finishing his food from McDonalds whilst I went to grab a cappuccino. Woman who works there came over telling me I had to a) hide the food, b) throw it away, c) leave. Ridiculous when it was a 3 year old child eating not an adult and he was there not out of his own choice but because I wanted a cappuccino from there. Obviously the worst choice ever. Not happy rude staff! Afraid of a little competition how stupid!

Absolutely useless, this store seems to think you are doing them a favour by shopping there, staff don't have a clue where anything is , then there is the click and collect service.
Trying to get your order is a nightmare, they don't ask for ID and twice I have been offered someone else's order!
Today is 23rd December, and an order I paid to have there on 21st December, I am old might be 'somewhere', but they have too many orders to sort out so try after Christmas - yet they are still taking click and collect orders!
Even Head Office, when they get through to them are told they are too busy to talk to them, this shows the attitude of this store.
The restaurant serves cold shrivelled up food at extortionate prices, and I have given up on this.
There are rumours that this store might close. Good! I will just go to the professionally run store at Romford where the customer comes first.
BHS Oxford Street, once, and if, I eventually get my click and collect order, you can say goodbye to the hundreds of pounds I spend with you each year, and my family and friends will follow suit when I let them know what a sham of a store this is.

Good selection but not everything is of great quality. A friend bought a pair of shoes here recently, branded "Burton" but apparently made specifically for BHS by one of their suppliers.

In store it was fine but after wearing it for a single day it really started hurting his feet. Obviously by then it's too late for a refund and they weren't cheap either.

Sorely disappointed.
