The decor and setting is nice. The drinks, while steeply priced, are OK. The staff, however, simply aren't up to the job.
The wait was long, despite just two other people wanting to be served at the bar. I was ordering a round of fifteen drinks and the server found it overwhelming and got easily flustered. She seemed put out that some of my drinks were half pints, too.
My experience doesn't seem out-of-character, either, as many reviews mention the unpreparedness of the staff for simple bar service.

I went to this place twice within a month and have to say I'm not impressed. The staff is ok but not great (e.g. they forgot our oysters), the food took super long to arrive. Burgers were good according to my friends, however they looked very ordinary compared to what you can get these days at other places -- basic bun, 1cm thick meat, one tomato, few shredded salad slices and some mayonnaise. Others had salad which was extremely boring and quite expensive for what was offered (my friend asked for olive oil and vinegar as there was hardly any dressing to taste). The interior design is ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Beer was lukewarm and the Cappuchino was very bitter -- perhaps a hot non - alcoholic drink is not the sort of beverage one orders at a pub but then why do they offer it at all? Verdict: I would not recommend this pub.
