Pretty good place off Oxford Circus with some seating outside. Bigger than you'd expect on the inside. Devil red interior plastering with a C19th feel and a heroin sozzled Sherlock playing the violin upstairs. Well, you feel that should be true when you go.

Busy, buzzing place. Quite a choice of beers and ales. Ladies toilets though.. Seriously need attention. 7pm already no toilet paper and some of them blocked 😱

I like the pub but there is a particular member of staff who acts like everything is a major effort
He's about 5ft6 and looks like he's just got out of bed with a 'can't be arsed attitude that suits his look.
Minus 2 stars just because if you can't be bothered to earn 5 stars then I cant be bothered to give them to you.
It only takes one like this then the next thing the pub will be sailing down **** creak.
Its a querky little English pub apart from that.

The bartender was quite rude. I received the wrong sandwich. The triple cooked chips weren't very good even though I was excited to try them (to be honest chips from Wetherspoons are better). There was no soap in the female bathroom (and none in the male bathroom according to my friend). Overall would not recommend this pub.

Lovely place with absolutely amazing staff. Duchan (not sure about the spelling) such a lovely and hardworking guy. The only member of staff in the dining area serving people (around 30), being able to multitask with a great attitude! Was lovely meeting you!
