This is a really good pub. It took me a while to warm to it but it has become my favourite haunt. I love the fact that the landlord is really passionate about it and is doing his best to make it entertaining and welcoming to visitors. Music of a Friday. Loads of big screens to watch the football or Rugby or American football if that’s your thing. There is an upstairs area that I recently discovered that has a huge screen and great seating to watch sports. Plus lots of good ales on offer (yes I’m a real ale fanatic). The staff are friendly once you get to know them and the actual pub itself is a lovely Victorian original full of character. Loads of tourists and nurses from St Mary’s hospital make for a great crowd to have a good chat and lovely atmosphere. Since I’m a lonely old guy on my own most of the time it’s nice to have a good chat with some lovely people. The food is good pub fare and a nice Sunday roast. Worth a visit. Nuff said!

We thought this was a fun pub to hang and food was very good. Beer selection was vast and bartender was friendly and very patient with us tourists. It reminded me of my favorite Muhammad Ali quote: "If they can make penicillin out of moldy bread, they can surely make something out of you."

Cool pub near our hotel. Good choices for beer and they serve coke, not pepsi!! Excellent fish and chips. Cod is moist and tasty and the batter is light and crispy. Perfect!

I've eaten here a couple times and the food has been hit or miss. The menu is extensive and decently priced. It's a good place to watch sports and they have a large screen upstairs. Good vibe
