Great takeaway and my first choice for Indian food. They have a really good selection and lots of choice if you dont like your curry too spicy.

I've been eating here for many years and at one point a couple of years ago this place was by far the best takeaway in Leicester however this year the quality of food has gone massively downhill, I've given them many chances to impress but have so far been let down every time.
Sadly at this rate I doubt they will be winning any more English Curry Awards anytime soon.

I used to love this but was really disappointed today. My husband couldn't eat his as it tasted of chilli powder and was extremely hot although advertised as medium. My chicken was hard and the butter chicken wasn't butter chicken and looked like korma. The rice and nan tasted like it had been cooked before and defrosted. Not sure what's going on may be new management?

We used to be regular customers of Chutney's and always loved it. More recently, they have unfortunately dropped their standards. The food is now just ok but not great with us sometimes getting rice that is not properly cooked and curry that isn't always great tasting. I am sad to say that this has happened for us on more than one occasion. Also some of the staff can come across quite rude and not very helpful/interested. I am so very disappointed as I loved Chutneys. I hope they can improve again.
