Had a Matdor pie with side of chilli peas 👍. Good value on weekday lunch deal, otherwise it would be overpriced. Pie had nice crisp pastry and rich filling. I can recommend the pieminster pie.p.a it's hoppy and citrus, lovely 🤗. Friendly staff, ok feel.

Top class pie, chips, onion rings on a stick, cheese on a stick, pigs in blankets on a stick, gravy = £13. I was stuffed. Pint of cider to wash it down. Well paced service. Nice people. Ambient. For a simple, cosy meal you can't do a lot better IMO. Only issue I have is that they used to do a pie called Mr. Porky which was luscious and they took it off the menu about 3 years ago. It needs to come back; it was the best pie ever.
