This is great in the summer, also nice in the winter. Food isn't that great but is good enough, staff are very friendly and drink choice is decent. Interior decor is nice.

Went in for a pint this Sunday, rude staff, and they had run out of draught beer! This happened before and got the same (non) reaction from staff. A simple apology would help. The Golden Guinea round the corner is miles better! Sort it out!

Visited on a Saturday night and was strangely quiet (?) Very welcoming and good choice of ales, lagers and ciders. Pub on a cobbled street with large outside seating area overlooking the harbour. Inside seating comfortable in a rustic setting. Would visit again.

Fine selection of alcohol, some nice ales, I had the gold which went down a bit too easily! A few nice malts behind the bar which weren't too expensive. The real selling point of this pub is the location and the very large outdoor terrace. You can sit out there all night during summer, and I'm pretty sure it is the last place to get the sun before it bids farewell for the rest of the evening. Worth a trip!

Great sunny harbourside location. One of the best in Bristol. But... in need of new management or revamp. Beer not served particularly well. Often out of certain drinks. Outside area could be tarted up. General feeling that they could do so much better. Shame, as it's such a fantastic location. I'll still go there, but will grumble to myself about how much better it could be.
