If this is "Edinburgh's best," it's rather disappointing. The downstairs was alright, but upstairs left much to be wanting.

We arrived shortly before closing but the staff was more than happy to allow us to explore. We found several treasures that came home with us. Well worth the time to browse the goodies!

This shop has to be one of the oldest and best in town, if not in Scotland !
Be sure to visit the deep basement level under the smaller shop as well, or you will only see a fraction of what is on offer.
It is an antique shop like no other, offering such a wide selection of great quality furniture, lighting, plated wares, pictures, mirrors, silver, affordable jewellery and all sorts of things of interest.
It's brilliant for one off gift ideas.
We've just about finished decorating our flat, and must have sourced at least half of the best stuff from this wonderful shop.
The staff are also really friendly and helpful.
A must if you are living in or just visiting Edinburgh.
