Have been to the village before the rooms are nice and a good size staff lovely and enjoyed visiting Starbucks on site always handy gym is great friends visit this often. All round positive

Absolutely disgusting to their staff. My niece worked for them for five shifts, and due to the slavery she left. They never paid her a penny, sent a P45 with 0.00, will be interested to hear from anyone sharing the same fate. Lack of staff makes me wonder what they are cutting corners on.

I stayed here for a single night in September 2017, but I wish it had been a week or two! This was far and away one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've ever had. The lobby and building were clean and spacious, the restaurants and bar were fantastic (and I happened to be there for pub trivia night), and the room was clean and modern (and quiet and comfortable). I was so impressed that I will be looking for the Village Hotel brand elsewhere when I travel!

The lobby and building were clean and spacious, the restaurants and bar were fantastic (and I happened to be there for pub trivia night), and the room was clean and modern (and quiet and comfortable). This hotel is so relaxed and informal. The staff are so lovely, helpful and friendly. The bedrooms are clean and very comfortable. The reception area is bright and has comfortable seating areas where you can relax with a drink. The bar is also good for food and relaxing with friends and family. You can also watch sports here. The restaurant serves a wonderful breakfast and superb evening meals. They also have an amazing carvery on a Sunday afternoon. The hotel also has a large well equipped gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi as well as offering beauty treatments in the spa. I would totally recommend this hotel.to anyone visiting Edinburgh!
