My brother took me here for lunch when I was visiting Edinburgh. What a great place this is! Stylish without being pretentious. Staff are friendly and attentive, but not obtrusive. The food is excellent and the menus are quite extensive. There is a special lunch menu with smaller portions if you want and another lunch/dinner menu with larger portions if you're hungry. Lots of friendly locals visit the restaurant and bar. The owner has completely refurbished the place over the last few years and is an excellent host. Go there, it's worth it!

Booked ellwyn for my mums wake as they had previously dealt with my dads wake 5 years earlier. Lovely place. Staff really nice and very attentive. Buffet was really nice with plenty of tea and coffee.
