Great location. Staff was friendly enough, got to check in a little early. Wish there were more accessible outlets. Our view was of the TKMaxx, but we did have one of the cheaper rooms.

Comfy room, if not a bit dated but still nice. Bar menu and food was nice, as was the breakfast. Would use again.

A decent place to spend the night, but an extra layer of glass on the windows would cut down noise and improve insulation. Also check carefully what time room service stops doing hot food - they claim 9 pm in the room info but stopped at 8:45 when I was here. No lift from street level to reception in the main entrance.

The hotel is amazing! Very friendly staff and it's also a really neat older styled hotel that was built in the 1800's, but has been renovated a little bit. They have done a great job at maintaining the hotel and it's a great mix of old and new. The area is also perfect. Right next to tourist sites, stores, restaurants, train station, etc.. It's my first time visiting and I am very pleased with this hotel. Highly recommended and when I revisit the area I'll know where to stay =).

This hotel is in a perfect location! It is only minutes from the train station and is located in the heart of the charming, historic downtown area. The staff is friendly and attentive and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are updated and the beds are cozy. The views facing the main Street are AMAZING and the hotel itself is superbly charming. I would definitely recommend adding the breakfast option to your stay. I cannot say enough about how delightful and perfect this hotel is for a stay in Edinburgh!
