Have stayed at this hotel off and on for years. Very clean, quite and safe area, with some nice views of the park. beautiful georgian building, recently renovated. Staff are very accomodating and friendly. There's even a family dog too!

Stayed for a day sleep and was pleasantly surprised. Really good value, friendly owners and a clean and spacious room. Nice and quiet too. Great location with views over the Links and near all the shops and restaurants of Leith

We were double booked at a nearby hotel and needed a replacement room for the night. Even though I'm sure they weren't officially open for business at that time, the McNair hotel graciously put us up for the night, at an agreeable price.
Their assistance was much appreciated. The room was also clean and spacious, so we were very pleased they found the time to help us out.
