Lots of free parking and huge store selling everything from grocery to clothing to music, films, games and household items. Nice wide isles and quiet store. Plenty of checkouts but quite miserable staff and customer service team very unhelpful.
In store cake shop is gone and replaced with Valerie Pattiserie franchise and it's a pity as their own was amazing.
Well worth a visit despite uncheerful staff.

Great shop with parking undercover so great in poor Scottish weather. Never crowded. Always quick service at tills.

I used to live just five minutes walking from there.
It’s open all week until 22 and has literally everything. All the stuff that the nearby Scotmid doesn’t have, this Sainsbury’s has it.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. The only thing is that there is a lack of choice regarding fresh fish: always the same and a really small counter. If they improved that place I would give them 5 star.

Sainsbury's newest superstore in Edinburgh. At times seems to have more staff than customers. Very friendly, helpful staff. On site cafe is v good.

Nice shop with a good range of stuff. Unfortunately, the management have a 'long queue policy' at the checkouts, and no 'basket only' lanes (they have several self-checkout machines, but these are so unreliable they have to keep two staff nearby to help bemused shoppers). Even when there is hardly anyone in the shop there will be a long queue at the checkout. So, I go there when I am nearby but otherwise I go to Waitrose.
