Amazing experience, very informative about whiskey 's history, surprisingly big collection of all kinds of whiske....from the oldest one to the newest!! Plus, in the end you can taste different flavours of malt and blends!! I totally recommended it!!! A must go place!!

I'd been into the shop loads of times but when my cousin came to town we did a tour - I have to say that despite being to 10+ various distilleries and being informed on the process of whisky making, this was nevertheless an interesting and unique experience. Absolutely fantastic and it's now on my to-do list for people who come to visit the city.

This was one of the best yours I have ever taken. Very slick and professional with a extremely good tour guide. Plus some of Scotland's finest whiskys to taste - what's not to like. First class!

Discover the world of whisky in the best way possible. Going in the morning was an excellent way to start off a day of exploring Edinburgh, not to busy and great finishing with an aperitif dram. Our guide Gary was knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his know-how with the group.
The silver tour itself is a perfect introduction to those who want to learn about Scotch Whisky, though definitely worth going for the Gold Whisky Tour if you want to taste the different particularities of each region.
I'd love to make it back to the Scotch Whisky Experience and try out the Morning Master Class or a dinner pairing on their Taste of Scotland tour.

A bit of a late review as I visited in April, but I found the experience enjoyable. The tour at the beginning is a little twee, but gives you a bit of background to the whole whisky making experience. The talk by the guide was really interesting, and the "scratch and sniff" cards really helped to understand how the different locations affect the whisky.
The whisky collection was a whisky lovers dream, and the best place to sample your wee dram.
I paid for the gold tour so got to taste four different varieties in the bar whilst looking out onto a lovely view of Edinburgh.
Well worth the money.
