Bit more up market, but still relaxed. A safe bet if you're wanting to impress, but not so much on the student friendly prices. Friendly and warm staff, creative decor, nice cider and probably nice ales (or at least mates say so) and very nice food, but again, not student prices.

Nice, modern pub. Good selection of beers in a nice relaxed atmosphere.
The food is also excellent as is the beer garden during the summer, it's a real sun trap.

Good quality food, beer and cider. Friendly atmosphere. This is my number 2 to the Exeter Arms.
