Really nice, old English pub atmosphere with friendly staff and patrons. Decent beers (good for real ale drinkers) and, even though we didn't sample the food, the portions we saw were more than generous.
They show sports, so if a big game is on and it's not your thing then maybe avoid until it's quieter.

Fantastic beer. Good choice of real ales. Friendly staff. Beer garden is a hidden gem. Great pub food.

Great beer selection, nice atmosphere and a lovely garden out the back. I have never tried the food but I am told it's good.

Little pub with a big punch showing most major sporting events. Food is kept to a minimum price and is excellent value. Real ales are plentyful with on average 6 on at any one time. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable 5 stars that are rarely given
