Use the chippy opposite!
Anniversary meal last night and nothing went well. Wine plonked on table not opened. 45 minutes for appetiser: olives and feta, even got that wrong initially. Starter was cold so they microwaved it. 2 hours from seated before main meal came and it was cold. We used to love this place but it's going to be a while before we try again!

Delicious food, great quality and good value for money. The waiters and waitress was very attentive, good with recommendations and really made our dinner experience a good and fun one.

Housed in a fantastic medieval building on Spon st, Blue Bistro serves contemporary British cuisine in a relaxed, romantic atmosphere.
A well stocked bar compliments the menu and the staff are very friendly.
A great place for Sunday lunch.

The food was good. Not great. Good. I seemed to get the short end of the stick on several occasions in one seating in this bistro. (We were a party of 9)
First of all I ordered a mushroom starter, the same as a friend but she got twice the amount. My main was a fish and chips which when it arrive looked like it had either been dropped or stepped on. I'm guessing when it was being carried out they had another plate resting on it. Not impressed.
Also service was incredibly slow, we waited with dinner on the table for the rest of the food to arrive. Overall was not impressed with the whole place and most likely will not return.
