Nice new cinema... but always too much light in the hall when the movie is on and it's ruins the quality of the movie .... I hope they can sort this ...

Comfortable seats, generally not too crowded and friendly staff. Very nice cinema experience, much better that Vue.

Great cinema. Screen 6 was very large screen and bright picture. Temperature was hot at first then 75% way though film turned arctic.

First of all, its great to have a local cinema to go to..."Thanks Steve".
There is plenty of places to park your car...and if you're lucky enough, you can park right outside.
I love the floor tiles as you walk in, as I think it adds to the experience of your visit to the cinema.
There are 6 screens, which is great.
The seat availability was good, as we normally go early afternoon, when I expect it's least busy.
The seats and leg room are very good also.
All in all, a very pleasant experience, which I would recommend to my family and friends.

I've now been to Cineworld Yate 4 or 5 times since it opened and am delighted with this new, local facility - literally 5 minutes from home. There's plenty of free parking and several restaurants cheek by jowl, offering a variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. Inside, the entrance hall to the cinema is spacious, light and beautifully sparkly! When it first opened I thought it was a shame there was nowhere to sit whilst you waited for friends, but they've now added a number of comfortable looking couches, which is great. The auditoriums themselves are good, with plenty of light to get to your seat, and those seats are really comfortable (I'm thinking a previous review who said they were really uncomfortable must have something wrong with him!). Best of all, though, is that there is loads of leg room - I have painful knees and have to be able to straighten my legs, which I can easily do here, which makes for a much improved cinema experience for me.
Finally, I would have to say the staff are really friendly and helpful (although it would have been nice to have been challenged when I asked for a reduced price ticket for being over 60 LOL). Those reviewers who have complained about their children being challenged for ID to get in to see 12 and 15 certificate films are being ridiculous - if their kids want to see such films they should carry ID, simple as that. They'd soon be complaining if staff allowed their underage children to see inappropriate material.
To sum up, this is a really excellent new venue for the people of Yate and nearby communities, which has also brought some great new shops and restaurants to a town that was crying out for more entertainment/ leisure industry facilities. Make the most of it, I say. We're very lucky to have such a super cinema and I intend to be a frequent user. Top marks to Cineworld.
