Clean bright wide aisles good selection. Not sure if black Friday but got £6 off for spending £60. Only downside was kids on scooters - I wanted a go!

Children's paradise. You will not be able to have a quick visit with children. You could if you are on your own Comprehensive toy store for all ages, at competitive pricing.

Poor staff advice and management at the baby department. Spent more than 2 hours in the store. They made me buy baby gear that didn't match so unusable. Realised once at home so came back for a refund but they said they couldn't take products back as part of baby gear policy. Think twice when buying at Smyths.

Terrible customer service. We had some toys which quite simply did not work. A member (jobsworth) of staff disagreed and would not swap. One product he said nothing wrong with- won't go into details- it did not work. Second he said we need original packaging to swap which we did not have. I fixed that by buying another and then swapping the product, then bringing the one back for a refund 1 min later. Smythes- your customer service staff are just awful.
