Had a wonderful meal here with four of us. Great Italian food. The specials are to die for. And probably the best thing to order. Nice wine and good service.

This is the only truly authentic Italian restaurant that I've ever managed to find in Cheltenham. Owned, managed and staffed by real first generation Italians. The food is delicious. Prices are reasonable and service is second to none! Fantastic place...
But I would recommend that you book as it is always quite busy (unsurprisingly!)

Fabulous traditional Italian, family run. Excellent food and brilliant value for money especially at lunchtimes. Service is excellent and friendly. Good for a romantic meal.

Like Sara Matthews my wife and I had a bad experience for many of the same reasons. Greeting from the owner was appalling, the table offered was unacceptable. We went to leave and was told there were more tables upstairs so we made our own way. The cream sauce my wife had curdled after a few minutes and my veal was tasteless and tough. We did not finish, We paid and left. It was a friendly restaurant with atmosphere and good food before the fire. NOT now!!
With hindsight we should have gone to Charles fish and chips next door, never been disappointed in 48 years.

I'd like to share experience if I could actually book a table here ! We have previously been and enjoyed it but since reopening all I can say is Absolutely shocking customer service.
My husband called them 3 times to ask for table for 2 for our anniversary meal. But as I have recently had surgery I can't get up stairs... my husband even said we would fit in any time in evening to suit them.
To be told NO they cannot do this... they not happy to take booking for two people to sit downstairs as they cannot guarantee availability. When asked when available. ..they said they cannot ever guarantee. . can you believe they cannot put note on booking requesting table downstairs please, as customer not able to get access upstairs. . It's 2017 for God sake ! What a joke
