Pleasant helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere, great home cooked food, the way a pub should be Helpful and polite. Adnams Ale too a delightful change from Greene King.

The Manger is a classic pub, like the very best pubs used to be. Friendly, hospitable, good food and beer and unpretentious. Hipsters have their designer bars, but give me the Great British Local Pub any day of the week :)
