Lovely place and good food but the service leaves a lot to be desired.....we waited at our table for 10-15 minutes before anyone even came to get our drinks order. Main meal had bits missing which were included on the menu but not on the plate, and a missing side order, I felt bad asking for these things even though we were supposed to have them and they'd probably been put on our bill too. After meal we ordered pudding but gave up waiting for it after over half an hour twiddling our thumbs, during which time nobody even checked in on us. Loads of people around us complaining about various things, mostly staff not being available. Badly organized. Won't be going again! I made sure we didn't pay for the pudding as it never materialized!

Very impressive building with equal management under the wing of Greene King. Albeit on our visit yesterday the IPA was not ready along with the guest ale.

We went there for daughters 21st.there was 9 of us. We got there at 7 and took 15mins for someone to get our drink orders. Then asked if we wanted to order our food but we hadnt even had a menu to look at. When food actually arrived it was luke warm. Didnt get side order we had asked for. The steaks were that thin the ones i buy at tescos were bigger. The nachos we ordered had hardly any cheese on them. My daughter had ribs and they were very chewy. My mac and cheese with garlic bread was cold .i would not reckomend this place to anyone. Absolutely appalling food and service nearly non exsistant.

Fantastic burgers, delicious! Bit too child friendly outside for us but would be perfect for families. I love the fact they let us take our dog in the bar area as it was getting cold outside. (photo is of our aubergine and calamari starters)

Visited a few times now as family increasing in size so need somewhere who can cater for a slightly larger group. Always happy with our meals. Children catered for. We did order in advance for our after Christmas get together Sunday lunch for 14 and staff were most obliging, paper and crayons were provided for fidgety children and meals reasonably quick to arrive, all delicious I might add. Reasonably priced too. No negative visits so far. Thumbs up from us!
