Good selection of beers, most brewed on site, with the odd guest beer. Interesting selection of food, some traditional, some not, and often a selection of fish/seafood. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking might be difficult during the day but is ok in the evening. My only reservation is that it always seems a bit chilly inside.

Only went there to eat. Nice building with good interior. Food was pleasant enough but nothing I found to write home about. Staff also were pleasant enough but gave the impression they were only doing what they had to do and would much rather be somewhere else.

Awesome stop on our bank holiday weekend road trip. Home made beer tasted great. Tried the 'Gunner's daughter' and would definitely recommend it if you like a darker, bit sweeter beer.
Had the burger which came on a tasty crispy bun with fries and onion rings. Tasty
