Probably the best pub in the area, the inside is decorated to an okay standard and the garden is quite nice in the summer. The beer is usually good and they sometimes have good ales on. Had a bit of a bad experience the last time I was here, some of the local morons (of which it seems in this area there are a great many!) were taking great pride in taking turns to make racist comments. The bar staff were well within earshot and decided to have a chuckle about it instead of asking them to stop. Hopefully the landlord/lady would take a sterner view of such mindless behavior! But I have to be honest I think they would probably agree.
