Overpriced food with very tired decor in the bar area with worn out, stained and holed seats. Landlord very personable however does make up for the poor surroundings and the unimpressive (for the price) food. Will not be returning.

The Irish Set dancers filled the bar. Complete newcomers and old hands span, stamped and whirled miraculously avoiding collisions. Live music with many new tunes - the band is excellent. Monthly on first Monday.

Great place for an evening drink. Separate area available if you want to make /avoid noise. Attentive bar staff and there is often cake!
