A nice pub with a quieter dining area with tables. A wide selection of craft ales and a decent menu. The food was good - I enjoyed a steak with a delicious peppercorn sauce. They offer small plates - three for a tenner - that was enjoyed by the table and seemed good value. The rest of the mains maybe a little on the pricey side. Overall good pub food.

Average pub with nice outside area for the summer. Trying too hard to please locals, students and families, but not hitting any on the mark. If you want a drink and maybe some food then there's plenty of space, just not much atmosphere.

Just had a fantastic steak meal, cooked exactly how I asked for it to be.
Staff are friendly.
Good choice of alcoholic beverages on offer.

Sorry reviewed the wrong pub! This is a great family pub with great food and a large selection of beers. It has a lovely garden with table tennis and pool. Kid friendly and dog friendly. Highly recommended. Cheers!
