Haven't ordered a chinese takeaway before as my usual place doesn't deliver to I tend to just go up and grab it. Was feeling lazy so decided to give Hotcha a try after mixed reviews on the Just Eat app.
First off it's a little pricey, three items came to £21.. The app said the food would be delivered at 10 but was delivered half an hour early so thought we were off to a good start. It all went down hill from there. Ordered pork belly which was £7.95 and it was the tiniest portion and was all fat and burnt, inedible. The chicken fried rice, £6.95, was overcooked and had clumps of burnt rice in it. And finally the sweet and sour chicken balls, £6.80, were burnt and overcooked, the sweet and sour sauce just tasted like watered down tomato ketchup. Definitely won't be ordering from here again and wouldn't recommend it at all. Stay clear.

Just had spicy chicken with egg fried rice best I have had and their price is better than last time very tasty polite delivery driver very fast delivery very happy with service 10 out of 10

Delivery was on time, but im sorry to say the food was poor. Spicy prawns were over loaded with salt, powder and chilli (i normally love chilli), the peking bbq beef was plain, in a standard gravy (like bisto) with large sliced slimey onion. The singapore fried rice was ok and good texture but quite salty. Finally the sweet n sour chicken was ok but sauce was also weak on flavour and taste. My partner and i were very disapointed considering the money we paid (£30+) 🤢😭 im never going there again sorry. Dont be lazy and pay online, go out, get cash and go to your local reliable chinese!

Not as big as it used to be, now it is just a desk but the food hygiene is still 5 stars and they still have plenty of cantonese food dishes to choose from.
